We listen to a lot of podcasts. Mostly car podcasts. And look, there are some great ones out there, along with some that are so-so and a bunch that we couldn’t even listen to.
But we’re especially passionate about classic European cars (and motorcycles). We like the stuff from the ’70s and ’80s, as well as the ones that staggered along into the early ’90s.
And while the ‘Rad Era’ cars are we what we grew up driving, we also have a deep appreciation for how these vehicles, and the companies that made them, came to be. We’re fascinated by their back stories and their racing histories, their flaws and their quirks.
But you know what? We didn’t hear anyone doing a good podcast that covered the stuff we love the most. So we decided we should step up and fill in the gap.
The VintagEuro podcast is for other people like us who love classic European motoring. It’s for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts. We cover everything from Alfa Romeo to Volvo, and every hot hatch, station wagon, sports sedan, roadster and coupe in between. If it’s from England, Germany, Italy, France or Sweden, it’s on our radar.
Who are we, you ask? The VintagEuro podcast is hosted by career automotive writer and magazine publisher Bryan Joslin, who has written for magazines including Excellence, Bimmer, european car, EuroTuner, Collectible Automobile and Petrolicious. He also founded and publishes the Land Rover magazine Alloy+Grit. His co-host is his longtime friend, fellow European car enthusiast and LA-based writer/actor Myles Leevy.
Together we will share our passion for these vehicles with listeners as we discuss topics of interest to the community of collectors, restorers, drivers and dreamers. We’ll also pull from our extensive network of friends and colleagues who work in the automotive hobby and industry as guests who will a rich perspective you won’t find on other podcasts.
Stick with us for future episodes and subscribe. The podcast is only the beginning of the VintagEuro roadtrip.
