Next year marks the 50th anniversary of the French collector car and classic motoring expo Rétromobile. And for the first time ever, the one-of-a-kind event will also come to America. The show is one part trade exhibit and one part public event that brings together businesses and enthusiasts in the vintage motoring world.
The 50th anniversary edition of Salon Rétromobile will take place in Paris starting on January 28, 2026. The North American version of the show, sponsored by Gooding Christies Auctions, is scheduled for November 19-22, 2026 and will be held at Javits Center in New York City.
The legendary auction house Christie’s acquired Gooding & Company in September 2024. The marriage of these two auction houses was subsequently renamed Gooding Christie’s. “There is no doubt that this new collaboration will be one of the highlights of our 50th edition,” explains Romain Grabowski, Director of the Rétromobile show.
We look forward to attending this exceptional event and will add more information as it becomes available.
