Goodwood Confirms 2020 Festival of Speed and Revival Cancelled

Goodwood, the 12,000-acre English estate of Lord March, Duke of Richmond, and home to two of the world’s most exceptional motoring festivals, has announced that its two signature events for 2020 will be cancelled and will reappear next year.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed, a four-day celebration of motorsport in its many forms, was originally schedule for July 9-12, 2020. The period-correct Goodwood Revival was originally scheduled to follow two months later. Due to health and safety concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, both events will take a hiatus for the first time ever.

Goodwood organizers have yet to confirm the 2021 dates, but presumably both events will occupy the same weekends in July and September next year. Understandably, they are likely reluctant to confirm the schedule until there is further guidance on the virus itself. We hope to be there when the festivities resume.
